āļøĀ A Flags For Good Original Design:Ā Alexus, a high schooler Cassie mentors, was over at our house recently and I asked her if she had any flag ideas for us. When she said "Abolish ICE", I immediately did a face-palm and was ashamed we hadn't thought of it before. So I used the red and white stripes of the US flag in a vertical design to represent bars of a jail with the words "ABOLISH ICE" in the center.

š§µĀ Our flags are durableĀ 200D polyester (most flags you'll find on the internet are cheap ~75D). In our testing, we selected 200D as the perfect flag material; anything heavier doesn't fly well and the "back" doesn't get enough ink, anything lighter feels cheap and wont last very long.
š³ļøĀ Ā Each flag is folded by hand on our dining room table and ready to be used on a flag pole, boat, hung on a wall, orĀ to proudly march with.

š¤Ā The Flags For Good Promise: We areĀ donating 10% of each flag sale to the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services (RAICES) Texas. TheyĀ provide pro-bono affirmative, defensive, and litigation services to low-income immigrants. Most of their clients, including children of all ages, would have to go to court alone, with zero representation.
This is the fifth flag Iāve purchased, and like previous purchases, it is very high quality. I was so happy to find this flag, as I think immigration issues need to remain visible, regardless of where one lives. It has held up in very windy, rainy weather-no fraying. I love the high visibility design and size.
I already had two others from FfG, so no surprises here. If you're shopping around, I will warn you: these are somewhat sheer, and are only one-sided. They're printed, not sewn. This isn't anything bad, but my only previous up-close experience with flags was with the ones I had to fold in grade school, so this was unexpected when I got my first flag. All that having been said, the flag is a good weight and flies well. The print is crisp and the design (since this one is original) is easy to read, even at a distance. I'm already anticipating buying my next one (I change these weekly and am wanting to add more to the rotation).
