India has now taken the record of World's Largest Flag away from Mexico. They unvield this bohemoth of a flag in Mumbai overlooking the Gateway To India as part of the country's Navy Day.

World's Largest Flag

The new record holding flag is 225ft wide, 150ft tall, and took 70 Khadi artists 49 days to make according to the Times of India

All flags of India must, by law, be made of Khadi hand spun cloth. Making a flag out of anything else is punishable by law for up to three years!
