Toledo's New Flag?

New Toledo Flag Waving

Today the Toledo City Council is voting on a beautiful new redesign of their city flag.

New Toledo Flag Meaning

Designed by Jacob Parr, this new flag of Toledo would instantly become among the best city flags in the world.

New Toledo Flag Design

Local news WTOL had me on to talk about the design and voice my support.

Hopefully the Toledo City Council will do the right thing tonight but either way, this flag isn't going anywhere. We'll be offering it at Flags For Good whether it becomes official or whether it lives as the "People's Flag of Toledo" similar to Milwaukee.

The flag of Alaska is celebrated globally as a masterpiece of minimalist civic design.
