Lincoln, Nebraska Flag
š“Ā Ā NewĀ Lincoln, NebraskaĀ flagĀ with grommets and double stitched edges to reduce fraying.
āļøĀ TheĀ Design: Inspired by the art deco architecture and native peoplesā artwork displayed inside the capitol building, this flag uses simple lines to convey Lincolnās past and itās progressive future by alluding to the interconnection of technology, agriculture and commerce. Whether youāre a lifelong Lincolnite or recent refugee in our town, there is hope and optimism here. These values are visually represented by the radiating, concentric artwork symbolizing a ābeaconā or safe harbor for those looking to better their lives. Some of the recognizable imagery implied by the lines are: the state Capitol building, a sunset, and an aerial view of the traditional center of town (13th and O streets). The colors are based on the Nebraska state flag. The yellow was modified to look closer to gold and the blue was shifted to teal by adding a green hue as a tip of the hat to the verdant tapestry in Lincoln which is home of the Arbor Day Foundation and many city parks. The winning design out of four finalists designed by Ed Mejia.

Frequently Asked Questions
š Which size is right for me?
See the Size Guide video below to see us explain every size we offer.
šØ Single-Sided or Double-Sided?
Single-sided flags are one piece of our durable polyester fabric with full color on both sides. Note: If the design has text, it will be mirrored on the back. These are light-weight and catch a breeze easily. It's the flag you are probably picturing in your head.
Double-sided flags are three layers of fabric that allow zero light through, but any text on the design will read correctly on both sides. They are therefore heavier, and work great as display flags. You can definitely use them outdoors, but note that it takes more wind to get going due to their added weight. During storms, we suggest taking them in as they get even heavier and are more likely to be damaged.
