If this is your first outdoor flag, here's the basics:

• Size. 3x5 feet is the standard for almost every residential pole (we sell the pole kits too). 2x3 feet is more for smaller displays, pin in a cubicle, dorm room wall type situation. See our full Size Guide video if you need more help!
• Material. We use a heavy polyester that holds color and takes weather, with a growing line made using CiCLO® technology so the fibers break down at end of life more like cotton or wool than like ordinary plastic. (Full material comparison here)

What size flag do I need?

3x5 feet for a house bracket or a residential house pole up to about 20 feet. Flower beds are probably looking for a vertical garden flag. Commercial poles of 25 feet and up usually want a 5x8 which we have in our more popular designs.

What are your flags made of?

Heavy polyester, a canvas header, metal grommets, and a triple-stitched fly end (the edge that whips in the wind and gives out first). A growing share of the line uses CiCLO® technology, which keeps the durability of polyester but lets it break down at end of life more like a natural fiber. How long will an outdoor flag last?
