The BDSM Rights Flag is loosely based on the design of the Leather Pride Flag while also incorporating an altered version of the BDSM Emblem created by Quagmyr's. The "BDSM rights flag", as devised by "Tanos" was made for the purpose of symbolizing and expressing support for the idea "that people whose sexuality or relationship preferences include... BDSM deserve the same human rights as everyone else, and should not be discriminated against for pursuing BDSM with consenting adults", as said on now inactive webpage bdsmrights.com.
