Louisville Flag (pre-2003)
🏴 3' x 5' Louisville, Kentucky (pre-2003) flag with grommets and double-stitched edges and a triple-stitched fly edge to reduce fraying.
✍️ The Design: The Louisville Kentucky flag (from before 2003) is a navy blue and features 13 white stars in a circular pattern in the upper-left, symbolizing the original states at the city's 1778 founding when Kentucky was part of Virginia. In the lower-right, three golden fleur-de-lis honor King Louis XVI, for whom the city is named due to France's support during the American Revolution, with their arrangement referencing the House of Bourbon.
In 2003, the flag was changed to a...frankly poor design. And since we only sell good flags, we still sell the pre-2003 version.
