Tibet Flag
3' x 5' flag of Tibet with grommets and double-stitched edges to reduce fraying.
✍️ The Design: The Tibetan Flag, also known as the Snow Lion Flag, is one of the most beautiful and deeply symbolic banners in the world. Banned in its homeland, it has become a powerful international symbol of resilience, faith, and the enduring spirit of the Tibetan people and their struggle for freedom.
At the center of the flag, the majestic white mountain represents the snow-covered land of Tibet. The rising sun’s rays—six red and six blue—stand for the twelve ancient tribes of Tibet who protected the nation.
A pair of mythical snow lions, a cherished national symbol, hold a three-sided flaming jewel. This jewel represents the reverence for the Three Jewels of Buddhism: the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Sangha.
The golden border on three sides symbolizes the flourishing of these teachings. It’s a flag that is both a piece of art and a profound declaration of a nation's cultural and spiritual identity.
