Asexual (Ace) Pride Flag Enamel Pin
Size: This Asexual (Ace) Pride Flag Hard Enamel Pin is 1.25 in x .75 in and has two studs with rubber backings to keep it secure on your bag, jacket, or wherever you rock it!
✍️ The Design: Created in August 2010 by an Asexual Visibility and Education Network (AVEN) user named Standup, this design emerged from a grassroots community contest aimed at establishing a unifying symbol for the asexual community.
The layout features four simple, equal horizontal stripes of black, grey, white, and purple. It turned out to be so instantly recognizable that the color scheme leaked into general pop culture almost overnight.
Every stripe carries direct identity significance within the community spectrum.
🖤 The black stripe represents asexuality,
🩶 The grey stripe stands for grey-asexuality and demisexuality (which also has it's own flag)
🤍 The white stripe represents all allies and non-asexual partners,
💜 The purple stripe signifies the overall asexual community as a whole.
THE "FOR GOOD" PART
