The iconic Progress Pride Flag—now the definitive symbol of inclusive LGBTQ+ advocacy—features Daniel Quasar's 2018 design that adds trans, non-binary, and marginalized POC communities to the traditional 6 Stripe Rainbow Flag. We're officially licensed by Daniel Quasar to produce this flag.

What The Design Means: The five-stripe chevron represents trans and non-binary individuals (light blue, pink, white), Black and Brown communities, and those living with HIV/AIDS. These half-width stripes sit atop the six-stripe rainbow flag that's represented LGBTQ+ pride since 1978.

Progress vs. Rainbow: Which should I fly?

Both are great choices! The traditional rainbow flag (6 stripes) is the classic, universally recognized symbol of LGBTQ+ pride. The Progress Pride flag makes an explicit statement about inclusion, intersectionality, and centering marginalized voices. Many people choose based on which design resonates with them or which message they want to emphasize. Some people fly both!

Why Choose This Flag:

  • Officially licensed by designer Daniel Quasar. Read more about Daniel below!
  • Built for outdoor flying with two strong grommets and triple-stitched fly edge
  • Multiple sizes available: 18" x 12" small boat flag up to 6' x 10' event banner
  • $1 Donated to the LGBTQ+ org of your choice (select below)

Perfect for:

  • Homes and apartments that want to make an explicit inclusion statement
  • Businesses, community centers, and schools
  • Pride events and rallies
  • Allies who want to show support for all LGBTQ+ identities
  • Anyone who believes in intersectionality and progress

FAQ

Find the most frequently asked questions below.
  • We donate $1 to nonprofits and organizations supporting progressive, humanitarian, and justice-oriented causes around the world. You can select which organization you want your purchase to support in the box below the "Add To Cart" button.

If you do not select a cause, your purchase's donation will be split among all the causes listed equally!

  • Yes! All of our flags have full rich color on both sides.

  • Single-layer flags are printed on the front, so on the reverse side, any text will appear mirrored. If you want it oriented correctly on both sides, select "double-layer" options.

  • It really depends on the environment it is flying in. Direct UV exposure, wind, rain, latitude, and especially hitting things like the brick on a house will shorten your flag's life. Also, dark colors fade first and the fastest. See our care page to make your flag last the longest!

  • We want you to love your flag. If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer a 30-day return policy. Simply contact us at orders@flagsforgood.com, and we’ll guide you through the process. Read more here

  • We are a small team with limited shelf space. If a design is popular, we start expanding what sizes we offer of that flag. Let us know if you really want to see more of this design!

  • We ship most things that don't include poles in discreet black eco-mailers. They're made from recovered ocean-bound plastic, so even our packaging does good!

Anything shipped with a flag pole, garden pole, or large numbers of flags comes in a standard cardboard box.

  • You choose! We offer standard USPS and expedited shipping options at checkout. Standard shipping typically takes 3-5 business days within the continental US, while expedited options are available for faster delivery if you choose to upgrade. We try to get orders in the mail as soon as we can. This could be as fast as the next day or take us a few days during busy times.
