The Ecology symbol was created by Ron Cobb in 1969. The symbol is created by taking the letters "e" and "o", from the words "environment" and "organism". Look magazine incorporated the symbol into an image of a flag in their April 21, 1970 issue. The flag was patterned after the United States flag with thirteen stripes alternating green and white with the green standing for unspoiled land and the white for clean air.

Our flags are made from a custom-curated durable polyester. Most flags you'll buy online are cheap thin blends and wont last the first wind storm. Since we are run by the biggest flag-nerd east of the Mississippi, you can rest assured that the quality and thickness of our flags will blow your expectations out of the water.

It's better if we just show you. Watch this video to see us explain the sizes we offer.

Each flag is ready to be used on a flag pole, boat, hung on a wall, or to proudly march with so you can express your identity!

Created in the most Earth-conscious way we can. We use discreet shipping bags made from earth friendly materials!

The E Flag

Best thing about the flag? That people ask me what it is a flag for and when I explain, I’m able to also to tell them how important it is to be vigilant about the environment and climate change.

Everything wonderful, as usual; but, colors are not vivid.
