🏴 3' x 4.5' redesigned Vermont flag. Durable polyester Vermont state flag with grommets and double stitched edges to reduce fraying.

✍️ The Design: For our "Better State Flag" series, we always start with a scan of historical flags of a state. Vermont has the famous "Green Mountain Boys" flag also used as the regimental flag of the Vermont National Guard. This flag has a lot going for it. Green field, blue canton with a spattering of 13 stars. So for my redesign, I kept the popular design but added one more star to highlight Vermont being the 14th state and then put the stars in an orderly pattern.

Great design and affordable, but texture could be improved

I love the design of this flag. I think it should be the only official Vermont flag. With this specific product however, I wish the texture and material were a bit different. I have the flag hanging in my window currently, and it seems to be somewhat transparent and one side seems to be faded compared to the other. The texture is also very coarse, with visible lines in the fabric. Perhaps this method of manufacturing keeps the price down, and it was very affordable, but if there had been a higher price option for a more silky texture with a bolder, solid color appearance, I would've paid more for that.
