Massachusetts Flag
Bought together
🏴 3' x 4.5' redesigned Massachusetts flag with grommets and double stitched edges to reduce fraying.
✍️ The Design: For the Better State Flag of Massachusetts, I began with the historic flag of New England in all of its bad-ass-ness. The pine tree on white is pulled from that and a white base is a nod to the current flag of Mass. Then I added a blue fly edge to represent the bay and 6 white stars in the fly stripe to represent the 6th state to join the union.
A few months after starting Flags For Good, I realized I could fulfill my childhood dream of redesigning bad US State flags. So that's what I'm doing!
Our flags are made from a custom-selected durable polyester (most flags you'll find on the internet are cheap and thin).

Single-sided flags are one piece of our durable fabric with full color on both sides. These are great for indoor use AND outdoor poles because they are light-weight and catch a breeze easily. If the design has text, it will be mirrored on the back. If there are no options, this is the default way we make our flags.
Double-sided flags are three layers of fabric that allow zero light through. They are therefore heavier, and work great as indoor display flags. You can definitely use them outside, but it takes more wind to get going and they could damage flagpoles in extreme wind conditions due to their added weight. Any text on the design will read correctly on both sides.
Each flag is folded by hand on our dining room table and ready to be used on a flag pole, boat, hung on a wall, or to proudly march with.
