Massachusetts Flag
Bought together
š“Ā Ā 3' x 4.5' redesigned Massachusetts flagĀ with grommets and double stitched edges to reduce fraying.
āļøĀ TheĀ Design:Ā For the Better State Flag of Massachusetts, I began with the historic flag of New England in all of its bad-ass-ness. The pine tree on white is pulled from that and a white base is a nod to the current flag of Mass. Then I added a blue fly edge to represent the bay and 6 white stars in the fly stripe to represent the 6th state to join the union.
Ā
A few months after starting Flags For Good, I realized I could fulfill my childhood dream of redesigning bad US State flags. So that's what I'm doing!
Our flags areĀ durableĀ 200D polyesterĀ (most flags you'll find on the internet are cheap ~75D). In our testing, we selected 200D as the perfect flag material; anything heavier doesn't fly well and the "back" doesn't get enough ink, anything lighter feels cheap and wont last very long.
We print this flag as a one-sided printĀ andĀ make sure that the back has ample (around 90%) bleed-through.
Each flag is folded by hand on our dining room table and ready to be used on a flag pole, boat, hung on a wall, orĀ to proudly march with.
Created in the mostĀ Earth-consciousĀ way we can. We use home-compostable and discreet shipping bags.
