✍️ The Design: This flag slaps. On top of being one of the most beautiful cities in the USA, Santa Barbara has one of the most beautifully simple and elegant flags. Adopted as the official city flag in 1923, the flag features a red tower in the canton on a tricolor white, red, and gold field. The red and gold recall the city's Spanish origins. The tower is the one where Saint Barbara (the namesake of the city) was trapped.
