It took me a while to find a standard 50-star American flag that I'd want to offer here at Flags For Good (if you catch my drift).

We eventually found the RePatriot recycled USA Flag which is made from fabric that begins its life as recycled plastic bottles. These American flags are constructed to meet the exact U.S. Government specifications, is made in the USA, and maybe most importantly, takes plastic out of the environment.
  • High Quality U.S. Flag for outdoor use
  • Embroidered Star Field, Pole Side Brass Grommets
  • Chain-stitched stripes and reinforced fly-edge
  • Colors last twice as long as traditional nylon flags

Proper Ways to Dispose of American Flags

  • 🪢 Made from 100% recycled polyester
  • 💪Sturdy canvas header with two metal grommets for hanging
  • ⭐️ Embroidered Stars & Sewn Stripes
  • 💨 Designed to fly easily in low or high wind
  • 🏳️‍🌈 Full rich color on both sides
  • 🇺🇸 Made in the USA by a veteran-owned company

If you don't have a flag pole to hang this on, grab one of our home flag pole kits! It's easy to assemble and ready to make some neighbors jealous (or mad...depending...)

Meet The Designer

Francis Hopkinson is credited for designing the Stars and Stripes, (no, not Betsy Ross). He was a signer of the Declaration of Independence, designer of Continental paper money, vexillographer (designer of flags). The best proof that we have of him designing the US flag is that on May 25, 1780, in a letter to the Continental Board of Admiralty, he mentions several patriotic designs he had completed during the previous three years, including "the Flag of the United States of America". He also noted that he had not asked for any compensation for the designs but was seeking a reward: "a Quarter Cask of the public Wine."

What a legend. (He was never paid)

This is my second order with Flags for Good. The quality of their flags is superior to any I have found through my search.

This American flag has quality that exceeded my expectations. It’s colors are very vibrant from both sides and it looks really good. Posted on my garage alongside my community flag. I am impressed that it is made from recycled plastics. I can tell this flag is going to last and not fade like the polyester ones I’ve been using in the past.

The flagpole was very easy to install and I love its compact size so I can take it with me when I go to Pride or other events. Flag accessories are very useful and high quality too. This company has a great service attitude and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

You will pay a little bit more up front because they will last and save you money down the road in replacement cost

Great colors, solid quality!

This American flag has such vibrant blue and red colors and is made from a very tough material. Looks like it will fly well for several years. Thanks for offering such a great product!

Perfect!

I wanted to fly an American flag alongside a Progress Pride flag. (I don't think it's right that conservatives have co-opted the flag. The U.S. is not theirs, and nationalism has to stop being conflated with patriotism.) I needed to find a flag I could be proud to buy. This flag is it! It's made from recycled bottles and I got to support a darling, Midwest, LBGT-owned company. Both this and the Progress Pride flag are sturdy and well-constructed. I'm very glad I bought them and they look great on my garage.
